This body of work is made out of aesthetic joy and necessity — necessity of the soul, that is.
Through oil paintings and colored pencil illustrations, I move through identity and imagination as a medium that translates what feels intimate into images.
THE UNVEILING OF FLESH AND SOUL | SERIES
This collection is an unveiling of flesh, of soul, of the self beneath inherited masks.
Through painting, I explore the parts of my identity I've suppressed for years under the weight of shame, tradition, and expectation, searching instead for something mutable, instinctive, and fully my own.
Reds and incandescent hues pulse through the work like chromatic sensuality and liberation; the portraits hold gestures of seduction and domination; fruits, flowers, and the feline symbolize temptation, decadence, and power.
These paintings are not about rejecting where I come from, but about integrating every hidden fragment of myself into something unapologetically alive. This is me. Unveiled.

NEW YORK, I LOVE YOU | SERIES
This painting is the first piece in a series about the unflattering faces of New York City — the greatest of places, the mecca of culture and cultures, but also a city that can feel exhausting, dirty, excessive, and yet, dangerously attractive. What interests me is the glamour hidden within that decadence: the richness and contradictions of a place that constantly moves between seduction and deterioration.

BESTIARY
My Bestiary is a series of tragicomic illustrations brought to life in colored pencil, and defined by a vibrant chromatic language and a whimsical, surreal approach to form. Each work depicts a hybrid being where the mechanical and the biological are seamlessly and fantastically combined, existing somewhere between invention and evolution. These creatures inhabit their own oneiric worlds, each carrying a distinct and extraordinary story made out of myths and dreams.
